HYBE JAPAN has launched a new label, JCONIC, aimed at producing iconic artists that reflect Japan's unique culture. This initiative is part of their 'HYBE 2.0' strategy, focusing on multi-home and multi-genre approaches. JCONIC will integrate strategy, production, and management to strengthen Japan's entertainment market presence.

This year's NHK紅白歌合戦 featured a variety of artists like ILLIT, &TEAM, and aespa, delivering captivating performances. Highlights included ILLIT's 'Almond Chocolate' and &TEAM's 'FIREWORK.' A Guinness World Record was set during a special segment, bringing excitement to the event.

At the 67th Japan Record Awards, ILLIT performed 'Almond Chocolate,' BOYNEXTDOOR sang '今日だけ I LOVE YOU,' and &TEAM showcased 'Go in Blind.' Each group expressed gratitude to fans for their support and shared their excitement about their achievements. ILLIT and &TEAM are set to perform at the upcoming NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.

The 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen will air tomorrow, featuring Korean artists aespa, ILLIT, and &TEAM. ILLIT and &TEAM will participate in a special medley, while Iroha and Maki will attempt a kendama world record. The event also reflects on the history of Korean artists at Kohaku.

The 70th New Year Ekiden 2026 will be broadcast live by TBS on January 1, featuring K from &TEAM as a supporter. K, a former elite runner, aims to enhance the event's excitement, leveraging his experience from the Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships. The race will showcase top athletes, including seven from the Tokyo World Championships and six from the Paris Olympics.
