Today (30th), the KGMA organizing committee announced the special lineup for the '2nd KOREA GRAND MUSIC AWARDS' (hereafter '2025 KGMA'), to be held on November 14 and 15 at Incheon Inspire Arena, featuring BTOB, EXO's Suho, IDID, INI, UNIS, and P1Harmony. BTOB is a powerful group that debuted in 2012, boasting a wide music spectrum and has been loved for a long time. Suho, the leader of EXO, has shown diverse activities as a solo artist. Since 2020, he has showcased various rock genres through three solo albums, and with his 4th mini-album 'Who Are You?' released on September 22, he has perfected his genre. This album topped the charts in 20 regions on iTunes, proving Suho's strength. IDID is a seven-member rookie group born through STARSHIP Entertainment's mega project 'Debut's Plan,' debuting on the 15th with their 1st mini-album 'I DID IT.' They possess solid skills and star quality, and through their title track 'Katte ni Kirabiyaka ni,' they achieved 1st place on music shows just 12 days after debuting, showing tremendous momentum. INI is a boys' group formed through the Japan-Korea co-production 'PRODUCE 101 JAPAN' Season 2, debuting in 2021 with their 1st single 'A.' They have high popularity in Japan, recording a million-seller with their album 'The Frame' released last June. UNIS, who won the IS Rookie Award and the K-POP group category for 'Trend of the Year' at last year's KGMA, will also perform at this year's KGMA. After debuting in Korea and Japan, they held their first fan concert tour and recently released their first Japanese digital single 'Moshi Moshi♡,' engaging in global activities. P1Harmony will also participate in this year's KGMA, following last year's event. They have charted three consecutive albums on the U.S. Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200,' starting with their 6th mini-album 'HARMONY: ALL IN,' gaining global attention. They continue their global activities with their second world tour and the release of their English album 'X.' There are also live broadcasts of concerts by Seo In Guk and CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa, along with special episodes showcasing their past performances. Don't miss the exciting lineup!
Lee Yong-ji has criticized the illegal sale of celebrity personal information, suggesting fans should directly ask her for her contact details. This issue highlights ongoing privacy violations in the entertainment industry, as seen with other stars like Jungkook from BTS, who faced harassment from obsessive fans. Such illegal transactions not only invade privacy but can also lead to further harm.
The 17th Melon Music Awards (MMA 2025) will showcase a diverse lineup of K-music artists including Park Jaebum, EXO, and more. The event will take place on December 20 at the Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome.
