BTS (Bulletproof Boy Scouts) members graduated from a global cyber university that denied any affiliation with a specific organization. Today (30th), according to News1's report, the global cyber university revealed that "our school is legally and administratively separated from religious facilities or specific organizations, and does not operate religious facilities or classes within the university." Regarding the fact that six BTS members graduated from this school, it was explained that "they entered the global cyber university before their debut or before becoming famous." And they conveyed that "BTS members were selected through auditions at BIG HIT Entertainment and debuted in 2013. Since they entered the university before or immediately after their debut, it is impossible to associate them with a specific organization." According to the university's explanation, SUGA enrolled before his debut, was able to study without time or location restrictions while engaging in entertainment activities, and had a fulfilling curriculum, which led other members to enroll at SUGA's recommendation. The university stated, "Our school is a clear four-year comprehensive university with administrative and legal independence and autonomy. Since all classes are conducted online, many company employees are enrolled, as well as entertainers. We hope that people do not defame entertainer students who are working hard in both academics and their main profession based on untrue content." They emphasized, "Currently, the school is gathering evidence to take strong legal action against net users who spread malicious videos and writings, and have announced legal measures." Prior to this, recently on the internet, there were suspicions raised that the global cyber university had ties to a religious meditation group with BTS also enrolling in the university due to its connection to that group. Amid the spread of such rumors, BIGHIT MUSIC stated on the 28th through the fan community platform Weverse that "recently, we have detected numerous organized movements attempting to defame and attack BTS's honor," and revealed that "we have determined that this is an act that infringes on the artist's honor, and in addition to our existing legal measures, we will be appointing a separate law firm and taking strict action."
