Pentagon's Wooseok releases a new song. Wooseok's new song "YOU," released on music streaming sites at 6 p.m. on the 26th, incorporates intense and honest emotions towards unforgettable love into a minimal pop sound, harmonizing upbeat beats and dreamy vocals to vividly express the complexity and conflicts of love unfolding in the glamour and darkness of the city. This new song was born through collaboration with producer Taka Perry, whom he met in Australia while shooting the music video for his first post-independence release, "Navy Blue." Despite being their first meeting, Wooseok and Taka Perry showed great chemistry and produced a music draft that satisfied both parties. They continued to communicate even after returning home, enhancing the completion of the new song. "YOU" garnered a strong response when performed as an unreleased song during various performances. Encouraged by the enthusiastic reactions of fans, Wooseok decided to release the album earlier than planned to delight his fans. Wooseok will hold his first solo concert at the Kruma Ale Theater in Hongdae, Seoul at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the 26th, where he will showcase not only the new song "YOU" but also the rock sound he pursues with a live band.
