The exclusive contract between VIVIZ and Big Planet Made Entertainment has been terminated. VIVIZ's legal representative announced today (the 8th) through an official comment that "due to violations of the obligation to pay settlement funds under the exclusive contract with the affiliated office Big Planet Made Entertainment, violations of management support obligations, and the resulting damage to the trust relationship, we have notified the termination of the exclusive contract, which will be effective from March 4, 2026, and will lose its effect." They continued, "The affiliated office delayed the final settlement payment by about a month from the payment deadline around November 2025 and has not paid the artist any settlement funds since then. The artist inquired multiple times about when the settlement funds would be paid, but the affiliated office only briefly replied, 'We plan to pay soon,' and has not paid any settlement funds so far." They also revealed, "Furthermore, around January 2026, the affiliated office unilaterally notified the artist of the cancellation of the release of the new album (EP06) that was being prepared. Along with this, the fan meetings scheduled for the first half of 2026 in South Korea and overseas were also canceled." They stated, "Moreover, the affiliated office was unable to even pay necessary costs on-site, forcing the manager to use personal funds out of necessity." VIVIZ explained, "We tried to be patient with the delay in payment of the settlement funds, but as we saw the surrounding people suffering more as we engaged in entertainment activities, we could not suppress our painful feelings. Ultimately, the artist had to conclude that the affiliated office had completely lost the basic will and ability to support entertainment activities, was not taking responsibility for the payment of settlement funds, and that the trust relationship, which can be said to be a prerequisite for maintaining the exclusive contract, had completely collapsed." They added, "Although the situation regarding the support for entertainment activities and the possibility of additional activities was unclear, the artist completed all scheduled activities planned until the end of March out of a sense of responsibility towards the fans who have consistently shown unwavering trust and support. Now that all scheduled activities have ended, we have decided to convey our position, albeit somewhat belatedly. We sincerely hope to continue to work together as one team with the same heart in the future." Prior to this, it was reported last month that VIVIZ, Lee Mujin, and BE'O, all under Big Planet Made Entertainment, a subsidiary label of One Hundred, had successively requested the termination of their contracts with the affiliated office. THE BOYZ also claimed a breach of contract by One Hundred and demanded the termination of their exclusive contract.
