It was reported that SUGA of BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) owns a building worth 17.3 billion won (about 1.7 billion yen) in Hannam-dong, Seoul. According to a report from a Korean media outlet today (the 4th), SUGA's mother owns land and a building located in Hannam-dong, Yongsan District, with an estimated market value of about 17.3 billion won. This building changed ownership in December 2022, underwent about two years of construction, and was completed this year. It is adjacent to the area undergoing redevelopment in Hannam Zone 3, and there are analyses suggesting it aims to benefit from future developments. SUGA's mother purchased the land and building on December 29, 2022, through her corporation, Nagum Co., Ltd. The company has no employees and is effectively a one-person company. The known transaction price at that time was around 10.8 billion won (about 1 billion yen). Subsequently, the existing building was demolished, and construction began, resulting in a completed structure with a basement level and six above-ground floors, including a rooftop room, classified as a second type of neighborhood living facility. The site area is 317 square meters, and the total floor area is 1,875.36 square meters, with ownership registration completed in June of this year. Currently, SUGA's older brother has been operating a restaurant on the first floor since the 11th of last month. There is also a restaurant in the basement, and a beauty salon on the third floor, with lights on in the fourth and fifth floors, indicating that there are virtually no vacancies. Recently, it was reported that SUGA visited the building to check on noise issues caused by the construction. It is known that many BTS members, including SUGA, Jin, RM, and Jimin, reside in Hannam-dong.
