EXO's Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin (EXO-CBX) have begun to organize their relationship with One Hundred's representative Cha Ga-won. Today (10th), according to a report from a Korean media outlet, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin sent a certified letter notifying Cha Ga-won of the termination of their exclusive contracts at the end of March. The three requested responses regarding contract violations such as unpaid amounts but decided to terminate their contracts after not receiving a proper answer. On the same day, Cha Ga-won's side stated regarding the notification of the termination of the three's exclusive contracts, "We are currently working towards normalizing the company," and clarified, "We will strive to resolve this issue, whether by receiving additional investment or injecting our own funds." Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin are artists under the label INB100, which is part of One Hundred led by Cha Ga-won. On June 1, 2023, they expressed their dissatisfaction regarding settlement issues and other contract-related matters to SM Entertainment through a law firm and indicated their intention to terminate the contract. Subsequently, the three continued legal action, claiming that their exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment were unfair and that relevant settlement materials were not properly provided. The two sides, which had been in conflict, announced a joint statement on June 19, 2023, stating that they had reached a mutually amicable agreement. Baekhyun not only drafted the agreement but also signed a re-contract with SM Entertainment, promising a future together. However, in January 2024, Baekhyun established the label INB100, and Chen and Xiumin also moved their agencies here. Afterward, INB100 became a label under One Hundred led by Cha Ga-won. Recently, the entertainment agency led by Cha Ga-won has seen a series of departures from its artists. SHINee's Taemin ended his contract with Big Planet Made after about two years in February. The nine members of THE BOYZ have sent a certified letter to Cha Ga-won requesting contract termination. Additionally, Lee Mujin and BE'O are reported to have notified the termination of their exclusive contracts. Furthermore, Lee Seung-gi revealed through his legal representative this month that he ended his contract with Big Planet Made, and VIVIZ announced on the 8th that their contract was terminated as of March 4. In relation to this, One Hundred stated on the 6th to Newsen, "Currently, we are doing our best to quickly normalize our management and are continuously negotiating to resolve related matters amicably."
