MAMAMOO's Solar will make her screen debut. On September 17, she will appear in the movie 'Oni Market,' which is set to be released in South Korea. 'Oni Market' depicts a chilling story of people trying to obtain what they couldn't have in a spirit trading market that opens when the fox's window is opened. In this work, she plays the role of Miyoung, who visits the countryside to fulfill her dream of becoming a famous writer. Miyoung becomes entangled with an old tree that is like a guardian spirit of the village and gets involved in strange incidents. Notably, this is Solar's first challenge to appear in a film through 'Oni Market.' Having proven her solid acting skills and expressiveness in musicals such as 'Mata Hari' and 'Notre Dame de Paris,' she is expected to showcase her unique charm. Thus, Solar is active as an all-rounder, moving between music and acting.
