Doyoung of NCT donates 100 million won to improve children's education, expressing gratitude to fans after his concert tour.

While NCT's Doyoung announced his enlistment, he made another donation. Today (31st), the international cooperation NGO World Vision revealed that "Doyoung delivered 100 million won (about 1 million dollars) to support children's dreams and improve educational environments." Doyoung decided on this donation to convey the love he received from fans after completing his tour in major Asian cities, including Japan, Singapore, Macau, Thailand, and Taiwan, starting with a performance in Seoul in June and the encore concert "2025 DOYOUNG ENCORE CONCERT [Yours]" held from October 9 to 11. He wishes to connect the warm support and emotions received on stage to the hope and energy in classrooms where children nurture their dreams. The donation will be used for educational environment improvement projects for school construction in the Mayuge region of Uganda. This project aims to provide a safer and more comfortable educational space for children who struggle to continue studying in poor conditions, with about 1,000 children expected to learn and nurture their dreams in a better environment. Doyoung expressed, "I am grateful to be able to give back even a little to the love I received from fans after finishing my second tour. I hope the school being built will be a starting point for children to nurture their dreams." World Vision's Chairman Cho Myung-hwan stated, "We sincerely thank Doyoung for his heartfelt support for children. We will do our best to ensure that many children can continue learning in a better environment and expand their dreams."
