ENHYPEN has made a comeback with their 7th mini album. On the 16th of this month, ENHYPEN released their 7th mini album 'THE SIN: VANISH' through various music streaming sites. This is their new album released after 7 months since the release of their 6th mini album 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' last June. Recently, during a comeback interview held at a certain location in Mapo District, Seoul, Jay said, 'This comeback has been prepared for a very long time. Therefore, I can say that we have put in a lot of effort into the title track, and I would be happy if it receives a lot of attention.' Sunghoon stated, 'I am very happy to be making a comeback with the 7th mini album, and I am glad we could start the new year with an album release. I hope it receives a lot of interest.' Jungwon expressed gratitude for fans waiting for 7 months and mentioned his excitement to deliver a satisfying work. He also wished everyone a happy new year. Heeseung shared his joy in starting the year with a new album, emphasizing their hard work in preparing to showcase new charms and fun. Jake mentioned that this roundtable interview format is new for them, and they have been trying various new approaches with this album. He feels this is one of their most complete and satisfying works. Niki felt confident about the album's success after hearing the demo of the title track for the first time. The album marks the beginning of a new series themed 'THE SIN', depicting the story of lovers who choose to escape for love while breaking societal taboos in a world where humans and vampires coexist. It includes 6 songs, 4 narrations, and 1 skit, enhancing its completeness. The narrations and skit incorporate elements of a mystery show, adding realism. ENHYPEN showcases their storytelling through a concept album where narrative, lyrics, and sound are organically connected. The title track 'Knife' combines confidence and overwhelming energy as it faces the 'blade' of the vampire society's enforcers. The album features various genres, including Latin, pop, and R&B, all centered around the messages and stories they wanted to convey. The album's narration is produced in four languages: Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese, allowing global listeners to enjoy the emotional flow of the album. ENHYPEN has also launched a virtual media platform 'Vampire Now' to enhance immersion in the album's story. They are conducting a blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Korean Red Cross, emphasizing their commitment to social responsibility. The album's narration features actor Park Jung-min, who delivers a powerful message about breaking taboos in vampire society. ENHYPEN's musical evolution is evident, with Jake's self-composed track 'Sleep Tight' showcasing their growth. They achieved significant milestones in the past year, including performing at Coachella and winning multiple awards at the 2025 MAMA AWARDS, fulfilling their long-held dreams.
ENHYPEN won first place on MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” completing a four-crown sweep on this week’s music shows with “Bloody Paradise.” They thanked ENGENE and supporters, then delivered a powerful performance. The Brazilian funk track is also charting globally, and they will perform on “Inkigayo” next.
EVAN, formerly Heeseung of ENHYPEN, appeared on the blue carpet at the 2026 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS held at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on the afternoon of the 27th. The event featured many K-pop artists, including ATEEZ, RIIZE, LE SSERAFIM, and GOT7's JAY B. It also noted his September 7 comeback with the first mini-album 'DEATH OF ME' and his cover of Kenshi Yonezu's 'Haiiro to Ao.'
