SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Joshua’s new unit JxJ led CARATs (SEVENTEEN’s fans) into a “world of ecstasy.” For three days from October 30 to November 1, the tour “JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING] - INCHEON” was held at Inspire Arena. From the first performance of this sold-out tour, the two presented a substantial setlist worthy of the advance notice that it was “a performance with a lot to show, commonly called a ‘pomancon’ (a concert packed with highlights).” In the performance, which lasted about three hours, they captivated the audience by sequentially presenting not only diverse stages, but also dance challenges, games, and VCRs that moved back and forth between reality and fantasy. The stage that opened this performance was “Outside,” a track from Jeonghan and Joshua’s first mini album released on October 19. After that, the two passionately sang SEVENTEEN’s representative songs such as “Crazy in Love,” “Rock with you,” and “Come to me.” “VERY NICE,” which has become established as an encore song at SEVENTEEN concerts, was also performed as a surprise in the middle of the show, adding variety. Jeonghan’s lyrical solo stage delivered with keyboard performance, and Joshua’s charismatic solo stage mixed with electric guitar performance, were also highlights not to be missed. Jeonghan, who ended the performance successfully, revealed his thoughts, saying, “Thinking that I would be able to meet CARAT after a long time made my heart race throughout practice. My desire to prepare a wonderful stage and come back soon grows stronger.” Joshua said, “I felt as if I were dreaming, like the title of the performance,” and added, “Since this was a performance created by Joshua and me while racking our brains together, I was happy to see everyone enjoying the stage.” Jeonghan and Joshua’s tour will continue to Saitama’s Belluna Dome on November 21 and 22, Macau’s Galaxy Arena on December 11 and 12, Taipei Arena in Taipei on January 9 and 10 next year, BEXCO in Busan on January 30 and 31, and AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on February 20 and 21. Even while some members of SEVENTEEN are fulfilling their national defense duties, SEVENTEEN continues to maintain an overwhelming presence as individuals, as a unit, and as a complete group.
SEVENTEEN’s Dino surprise-released his new song “AUTOMATIC” at 6 p.m. today. He co-wrote the track, which captures the thrill of love that feels complete when two people are together. Producer Jintae Ko also helped write it. Dino had already previewed the stage at his solo show, drawing an explosive response.
Pledis Entertainment announced it is monitoring and collecting evidence against malicious posts, false rumors, and defamatory attacks on SEVENTEEN, including content about members’ military service. It warned that it will pursue civil and criminal action, even against those who spread the posts.
SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan and Dino enlisted in the military today as army band members. S.Coups shared a photo with them on Instagram, and Woozi was also seen at the enlistment site. The two greeted fans on Weverse before enlistment, while Pledis said they will continue meeting CARAT through prepared content.
SEVENTEEN members Seungkwan and Dino are enlisting today, October 26, as Army military band members. Pledis announced their enlistment in August and asked fans to refrain from visiting the training center on the day, since many soldiers and families will be present. Both have also been active in unit and solo work, and several other SEVENTEEN members are already serving.
Jeonghan and Joshua of SEVENTEEN released the teaser for the music video of “12 o'clock,” the title track from their first mini album DREAMSCAPE. The song reimagines disco-funk as dance rock, and they will release the album and full MV on the 19th, then begin music show promotions and a sold-out tour.
