At TV Asahi, starting from April 5th (Friday), a new program "M:ZINE" will be broadcast every Friday late night from 1:30 to 1:50, starting with the theme of creating a ZINE specialized in "music" by inviting one artist each month to delve into their true feelings from a fan's perspective. The hosts are Hikaru Wakai from Mrs. GREEN APPLE, Murakami from Majical Lovely, and TV Asahi announcer Mio Hayashi, who will explore the charm of the featured artists from their own perspectives. The first artist to be featured in April is the global boy group RIIZE, who debuted with "Get A Guitar" in September 2023 under SM Entertainment, known for producing TVXQ, Girls' Generation, SHINee, and more. Their digital single "Love 119" released in January also has a Japanese version. RIIZE has already gained attention with the release of their prologue single "Impossible" on April 18th. They also appeared on TV Asahi's 65th anniversary program "The Performance" for a special collaboration with Hikaru Wakai from Mrs. GREEN APPLE. The collaboration was inspired by a project they worked on together on the show. The members of RIIZE, including Shoutarou, Unsok, Sonchan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton, each have unique profiles and stories from before and after their debut. The program will delve deeper into their charm with a 90-minute special broadcast on CS channel.
