NCT's Jisung officially makes his debut as an actor. Today (14th), according to an interview with My Daily, Jisung's appearance in ENA drama "Crash" Season 2 has been confirmed. "Crash" is a drama that first aired in Korea in May 2024, featuring a traffic crime investigation team that is completely ignored within the police department but captures lawbreakers with excellent teamwork in a thrilling action comedy. Season 2 will feature Jisung along with Lee Min-ki, Kwak So-nyeong, and Ho Sung-tae, who were members of Season 1. Jisung will play the role of the youngest member, Chi Dae-se, who has just joined the TCI team. Due to his tall stature and handsome features, he is nicknamed the "idol of the traffic division." He is skilled in physical activities like Taekwondo and Aikido but carries inner pain. Before debuting as NCT DREAM in 2016, Jisung had experience as a child actor in dramas like "Deep Rooted Tree - The Oath of Sejong the Great" and the movie "Broken Arrow." Through "Crash," he is taking on acting for the first time since debuting as NCT DREAM. "Crash" has recorded the third-highest viewership ratings for ENA dramas. Lacking romance elements, it gained popularity with its intriguing developments and the tension typical of investigative stories. Director Park Joo-nu from Season 1 will continue to direct, and filming is scheduled to start early next month.
