Fashion magazine 'Harper’s BAZAAR KOREA' has released five types of gravure featuring actor Park Bo-gum for the 2025 Hanbok (Korean traditional clothing) special edition. The elegant Hanbok appearance catches the eye, heralding the arrival of the Chuseok holiday. As part of the 'Hanbok Wave' project that started in 2020, Park Bo-gum has been selected as the first male model following actress Kim Tae-ri last year. Known for his deep affection for Hanbok, Park Bo-gum not only inspired the four Hanbok brands selected for the 2025 'Hanbok Wave'—DADADA HANBOK, mooroots, oneorigin, and HB-MOON—but was also deeply involved in the production process. The resulting Hanbok stands out for its unique elegance and experimental ideas. Even during the shoot that lasted until dawn, he was reported to have given his best without losing focus. In a subsequent interview, when asked about his feelings as the first male model for the 'Hanbok Wave' project, he said, 'The designer's works that capture traditional Hanbok from a fresh perspective and incorporate Korean beauty are truly wonderful, and I have great respect for them. I prepared for the shoot while thinking about how to express the lines and charm of Hanbok through the way I wear the clothes.' When asked about his experience hosting KBS 2TV's 'THE SEASONS - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile,' which recently concluded, he said, 'I wanted to convey the charm of the artists to the audience and viewers, so I listened to all the performed songs and tried to do everything I could (laughs). It was a wonderful time to hear the voices of music lovers directly on site.' When asked why he approaches music with caution, he replied, 'I really love music. In a work, music not only enhances the atmosphere of the drama but also plays a significant role in helping the audience immerse themselves in the story. I want to become skilled enough to have my own music used in a work I participate in someday, so I am steadily studying.' When asked about moments he felt were turning points while working on recent projects as an actor, he said, 'While filming 'Good Boy,' I realized I was expanding my genre range. It was my first time in a project where I showcased action every episode, and everyone on set was giving their all. With the widening of my activities, I want to express even more diverse characters in the future.'
