I.M of MONSTA X enlists today (9th). Earlier, on January 12, his agency STARSHIP Entertainment revealed through the official fan cafe that "I.M will enter the training camp on February 9, and after receiving basic military training, he plans to fulfill his duty as an active duty soldier in the army." All members of MONSTA X, except I.M, have completed their military service. Recently, they held their last stage before I.M's enlistment at the KSPO DOME in Songpa, Seoul, for the "2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR 'THE X: NEXUS'." Notably, I.M stated, "Since my brothers are here and MONBEBE (MONSTA X fans) are here, I think I will shave my head," and drew attention by cutting his hair on stage in front of fans. On the 8th, I.M shared a group shot on his social media, seemingly taken during the concert, showing a close atmosphere with the members and his shaved head. After I.M's enlistment, the remaining members will continue their world tour. A Japan concert for the "2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR [THE X: NEXUS] IN JAPAN" has also been announced, scheduled for April 28 (Tuesday) and 29 (Wednesday, holiday) at LaLa Arena TOKYO-BAY (Chiba), and May 3 (Sunday, holiday) and 4 (Monday, holiday) at Ōkinin Arena Maishima (Osaka) to interact with Japanese fans.
