EXO's Lay apologized for not attending the fan meeting. On the 14th, he revealed on his Weibo (Chinese version of X) that he hurried back to Beijing this morning to participate in an important event held at the National Grand Theatre of China. He continued, 'I have safely arrived in Beijing, so please do not worry. I sincerely apologize to all the fans, members, and staff for the inconvenience caused by my absence.' On this day, EXO held the fan meeting 'EXO'verse' at Incheon Inspire Arena, which attracted attention as it was the first fan meeting in two years since the members' military service and solo activities. Lay had participated in rehearsals until the 13th but informed of his absence on the day itself. Ultimately, only Suho, D.O., Sehun, Kai, and Chanyeol appeared at the fan meeting. SM Entertainment stated that 'due to unavoidable circumstances, Lay unfortunately had to miss the fan meeting.
