SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan revealed that he had health problems during his military service. Jeonghan appeared on the YouTube channel “Channel Fifteenya,” released on the 18th. That day, producer Na Young-seok, who reunited with Jeonghan after a long time, asked, “Did you lose weight? Did you lose weight, or are you the same?” Jeonghan replied, “I’m 63 kg, so I’m almost the same,” and “Before I went in (to the military), I was about 62 kg or 63 kg too.” In response, Na Young-seok joked, “Why are you slacking off on exercise like this?” Then Jeonghan revealed, “If you hear that story, hyung will be really sad. I was really unwell during (my military service). My stomach and intestines got really bad, and I lost 13 kg because of that. I started exercising when I dropped to 53 kg,” drawing attention. Na Young-seok joked, “So that was the show-off video.” Previously, member Mingyu had revealed that Jeonghan was working out in a way that showed off, wearing a tank top. SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Joshua, forming the new unit JxJ, will release their first mini album, “DREAMSCAPE,” on Oct. 19, 2026, and begin their Asia tour on Oct. 30. The Japan performance at Belluna Dome on Nov. 22 will also be shown live in theaters nationwide, with a postcard giveaway for attendees.
SEVENTEEN is opening a new model of activity without military-service gaps through unit and solo projects. In one year, they released five albums, seven digital singles, and held 56 shows. Members like DxS, V8, Dino, Jun, and the new JxJ unit are expanding the group’s reach worldwide.
