Japan-born global group &TEAM held the Singapore performance, the final main show of its second Asia tour, “2026 &TEAM CONCERT TOUR 'BLAZE THE WAY'” (a total of 14 cities including encore performances), on August 22 at ARENA@EXPO, and completed it in great success. This Asia tour traveled through all 14 cities (Kanagawa, Kagawa, Aichi, Fukuoka, Taipei, Hyogo, Incheon, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Chiba, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Saitama, and Seoul). Singapore, fittingly the final destination that colored the end of the main run, was wrapped in excitement from beginning to end. The audience raised a huge chorus in sync regardless of whether the songs were in Japanese or Korean, showing a sense of unity in which they became one through music beyond language barriers. Furthermore, even after the main performance ended, the audience’s excitement did not cool down; encores were repeated, and after the show ended the members appeared on stage again and performed the popular song “FIREWORK,” getting excited together with the audience, making for a closing wrapped in the lingering sadness and warm unity unique to the end of the tour. What drew major attention in this performance was the figure of member MAKI, who spent his childhood in Singapore. While singing the song “Who am I,” there was a scene where K gently pulled MAKI, who was moved to tears, close by the shoulder, creating an emotional moment that highlighted the group’s bond of supporting one another. In the MC segment, MAKI spoke in English about his feelings toward Singapore, which he visited for the first time in about 10 years: “I did not want this moment to end, and in fact it was also the scene I feared the most. Returning to Singapore after about 10 years, what made me happiest above all was being able to know that so many LUNÉ (the name of the fans) love &TEAM and listen to our music. It was definitely one of the happiest moments in my life. Next time, we will surely come back with even more grown music and energy. I am looking forward to the day I can see you all again!” He conveyed overflowing gratitude and a promise to meet again, and the venue was filled with loud applause and warm cheers. Immediately after the performance ended, the nine members held a broadcast through Weverse LIVE. MAKI looked back, saying, “Since my debut, this was the first time I cried. The moment I finished singing my part in ‘Who am I,’ I realized that I was performing in Singapore, and when I looked around at LUNÉ, tears came out.” The members also shared together that moving moment from that time. On social media as well, voices celebrating the completion of the tour and expectations for future activities overflowed, and the sense of excitement spread in real time. &TEAM, having completed all dates of the main tour in great success, will now hold encore performances over two days, Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6, at Belluna Dome in Saitama. This performance will be &TEAM’s first solo dome stage. It is planned to be delivered as a special edition incorporating elements of “EN DAY,” the annual special event in which they celebrate the group’s anniversary, which falls on Thursday, September 3, together with fans (LUNÉ). Furthermore, encore performances at KSPO DOME in Seoul are also scheduled for October, and expectations are rising toward the conclusion of the large-scale tour that traveled through all 14 cities. Even within Weverse LIVE, the members showed strong confidence, saying, “The dome performance will definitely be fun,” and appealed that it will become a special stage packed with cuteness, coolness, and humor. In &TEAM’s path, which has further evolved through the large-scale tour, attention is focused on the first dome performance, which will be an important milestone.
