TWICE has achieved a new record as the first K-POP girl group. This time, their 14th mini album track 'Strategy' has become the first by a K-POP girl group to receive platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). With this, TWICE has received their first platinum certification for 'Strategy', following the gold certifications for 'The Feels' and 'I CAN'T STOP ME', making them the highest certified artist by K-POP girl group standards. The RIAA classifies certifications based on sales of singles and albums in the United States: Gold (over 500,000), Platinum (over 1 million), Multi-Platinum (over 2 million), and Diamond (over 10 million). Notably, 'Strategy' was included in the OST of the hit Netflix show 'KPOP Girls! Demon Hunters', receiving explosive reactions. As a result, it successfully charted on the Billboard HOT 100 for 17 weeks. With this momentum, it received platinum certification in less than a year since its release, proving their global popularity once again. This year, TWICE celebrates their 10th anniversary and is actively performing globally. They are conducting their largest-ever world tour, 'THIS IS FOR', across 43 regions, showcasing their presence as a 'global top-class girl group' while meeting audiences.
