NCT has reported pain due to privacy violations and announced legal action. On the 7th, SM Entertainment, the agency of NCT, communicated through the fan communication platform Weverse that "recently, due to an increase in cases threatening the safety of artists and invading their privacy, we would like to inform about fan etiquette for the formation of fandom culture and the protection of artists' rights." The agency stated, "Please refrain from excessive physical contact, attempting conversation, delivering gifts and letters, and indiscriminate filming in all security areas of the airport, as these can lead to accidents." They also mentioned, "There have been repeated cases of approaching the artists' seats on flights, which is a serious issue of invading members' privacy. Therefore, from this announcement onward, receiving letters and gifts at the airport and on flights will be prohibited." Furthermore, they revealed, "Recently, there have been continuous acts of illegally stealing artists' personal information to change or cancel flight seats, disrupting schedules. This behavior constitutes business obstruction and can be subject to damage compensation claims." They requested that fans refrain from visiting the airport using information obtained through unfair means during all entries and exits to and from Korea and abroad, including overseas schedules and personal schedules. They also advised against visiting unofficial schedules and private spaces, stating, "All spaces related to the artists' privacy are important places for their daily lives and rest. Please refrain from visits and contact to protect artists' privacy." Other behaviors mentioned included blocking cars, chasing, illegally obtaining, disseminating, or attempting to trade personal information, continuously contacting artists and their families, and invading private conversations and filming without permission. They warned that strict legal measures would be taken against illegal acts such as stalking and personal information leaks. They expressed gratitude to fans supporting NCT and promised to continue to protect artists' rights and promote a healthy fan culture.
