Entering Chapter 2 from Episode 25, 'Kamen Rider Zets'. The new theme song for Chapter 2 has been decided to be 'PLAY BACK' by NCT's Yuta. Yuta commented, 'It links with NCT's concept, and I think it's fate!?' The song is composed by KENJI03 of BACK-ON, who also worked on the theme song for 'Kamen Rider Gatchard'. The lyrics are written by Seiko Fujibayashi, who has penned many Kamen Rider series theme songs. The TV size of the new theme song 'PLAY BACK' will start streaming on March 8. ◆NCT Yuta's Comment When I first heard about this, I was really happy. I thought, 'Really?! Awesome!!' I was so happy that I couldn't find words to express my joy, as I was obsessed with Kamen Rider when I was young. I am starting a rock-style solo artist path from 2024, but I have been part of NCT/NCT 127 since 2016. The story of Kamen Rider Zets, where the hero obtains a transformation belt in a dream and saves the heroine, actually links with NCT's concept. I want our music to resonate and connect with friends through dreams, and help everyone overcome their pain and worries. So, I thought it might be fate!? It was a wonderful experience to record with the song provided by KENJI03, who gave me various advice. I would be happy if my theme song could add color to the world of Kamen Rider Zets. ◆Seiko Fujibayashi's Comment I wrote the lyrics hoping to express the surprise of a daily life that seems to be progressing normally suddenly changing... a shift in perspective, a paradigm shift. I believe KENJI03's cool music and Yuta's cool singing voice will elevate the latter half of Kamen Rider Zets! I hope it can be a song for awakening when it's time to wake up... ◆Hi-yunk (BACK-ON) Comment This time, we created 'PLAY BACK' with Fujibayashi-sensei and Yuta-kun! I was surprised by the unexpected selection, but the world view has changed from the past works I was in charge of, combining aggressive guitar sounds and pop punk to create a hybrid mixture.
