Toyota "Drive Your Teenage Dreams." The latest movie of the HIACE DANCE SESSION was released today. This time, RIIZE's Showtaro, a boy group from Korea, and KYOKA from RUSHBALL, a prominent hip-hop dancer in Japan, co-starred for the first time, showcasing impressive dance against a matte black HIACE. The Toyota "Drive Your Teenage Dreams." HIACE DANCE SESSION is part of a project launched by Toyota Motor Corporation and STARBASE to create new ways to enjoy cars. With the concept of "cars as playgrounds," the project utilizes the interior and exterior spaces of the vehicle, presenting a blend of car and dance culture with stylish, contemporary aesthetics. This time, Showtaro from RIIZE and KYOKA, a leading hip-hop dancer in Japan, were cast. The video was created by minimizing decorative elements and lighting to maximize the dancers' expressions and the charm of the HIACE. The choreography was primarily developed by KYOKA, who aimed to bring out Showtaro's dance skills that are not usually seen. The dance features a striking contrast of graceful, delicate movements and powerful expressions. The choreography includes playful moves reminiscent of steering a wheel, and despite being their first collaboration, the pair's chemistry shines through in their dance parts, making the video full of highlights. Additionally, the film challenges traditional filming by capturing dance scenes inside the car and through the front windshield, further enhancing the use of the HIACE. This work harmonizes the different elements of cars and dance, and we hope you pay attention to it. Furthermore, a making-of video capturing the behind-the-scenes of the dance session will be released later on the Toyota Drivers Channel, and stills and dance footage will also be shared on Toyota's official social media. The two expressed their excitement about participating in this project, feeling like they returned to their teenage innocence. Showtaro's comment: It was my first collaboration with KYOKA, and it was a fun time; the filming went by in a flash. Participating in Toyota's dance project for the first time allowed me to challenge a new dance style, which was a great experience. KYOKA's comment: I think we danced with a great atmosphere, despite it being our first collaboration! Please enjoy Showtaro's straightforward dance!
