Junho of 2PM won the grand prize at the "2023 APAN STAR AWARDS." The "2023 APAN STAR AWARDS" is a drama awards ceremony that integrates all channels, including terrestrial, comprehensive programming channels, cable, OTT (video distribution services), and web dramas in Korea. It is the only awards ceremony officially recognized by the mass culture and arts related organizations, and actors who have shown the most outstanding performances in all evaluation criteria such as acting, popularity, likability, and drama ratings are nominated in each category. Junho shone as a five-time champion, winning the IDOLCHAMP Global Star Award and the Best Couple Award with Girls' Generation's Yoona, who co-starred in "King The Land." In addition, the Best Male Acting Award in the mid-length drama category went to Ryu Seung-ryong (Disney+ "Moving"), and the Best Female Acting Award in the mid-length drama category went to Uhm Jung-hwa (JTBC "Doctor Cha Jung-suk"). The Best Male Acting Award in the long drama category went to Ko Soo (tvN "Missing: They Were There 2"), and the Best Female Acting Award in the long drama category went to Lee Sung-kyung (SBS "Romantic Doctor Kim Sabu 3"). The Best Male Acting Award in the mid-length drama category went to Park Hee-soon (Netflix "Narco God") and Jo Han-chul (JTBC "Chaebol Family's Youngest Son", tvN "Stealer"), and the Best Female Acting Award in the mid-length drama category went to Kim So-hyun (ENA "Paper Moon") and Uhm Ji-won (tvN "Sisters"). The Best Male Acting Award in the long drama category went to Son Ho-jun (SBS "First Responders: Emergency Response Team 2"), and the Best Female Acting Award in the long drama category went to Kim Ok-bin (tvN "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Arthdal"). The Best Acting Award went to Lee Dong-hwi (Disney+ "Casino") and Jung So-young (Netflix "D.P.2") for men, and Shin Ye-eun (Disney+ "Revenge of the Fake") and Yum Hye-ran (Netflix "The Glory: Shining Revenge", tvN "Ghost Hunting Team: Counters 2", Netflix "Mask Girl") for women. The Best Male Acting Award in the short drama category went to Joo Jong-hyuk (KBS "Do You Know Ashutanga"), and the Best Female Acting Award in the short drama category went to Shin Eun-soo (KBS "Nineteen Months"). The Best Male Rookie Award went to Kim Dong-wook (tvN "Missing: They Were There 2", wavve "Deal") and Moon Sang-min (tvN "Shall We Play"), and the Best Female Rookie Award went to Lee Han-byeol (Netflix "Mask Girl") and Jo Ah-ram (JTBC "Doctor Cha Jung-suk"). The Best Male Acting Award in the web drama category went to Joo Young-wook (KakaoTV "Do You Know Why the Diary"), and the Best Female Acting Award in the web drama category went to Red Velvet's Yeri (Cocotv "Bitch X Rich"). In addition, the screenwriter award went to Kang Yoon-sung (Disney+ "Casino"), the director award went to Park In-je (Disney+ "Moving"), and the work award went to tvN "Sisters." The "2023 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS," a festival of K-dramas in which the best artists who have a strong influence on mass culture and arts and people from all over the world participate, is co-hosted by the Korea Entertainment Management Association and the Seoul Economic Promotion Institute, and co-hosted by the Korea Entertainment Management Association and WIZON Company, and sponsored by SEOULEAGUER Co., Ltd. and Hanchon Co., Ltd., and the Republic of Korea Influencer Association.
