VERIVERY's Hoyoung will enlist. Yesterday (17th), his agency Jellyfish Entertainment revealed, 'Hoyoung is scheduled to fulfill his military duty as a social service worker starting November 27.' They added, 'On the day of his enlistment, there will be no special official events. The enlistment ceremony will be attended by many military officials and family members, so we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the site or the workplace of alternative service for safety reasons.' As a result, Hoyoung will be the second member of VERIVERY to fulfill his defense duties. Previously, leader Dongheon served in the active army in August 2022 and was discharged in February this year. Hoyoung has been on a temporary hiatus since October 2023 due to psychological anxiety symptoms. VERIVERY will release their 4th single 'Lost and Found' on December 1, planning to return with five members, excluding him and Minchan, who is also on hiatus.
