The globally influential artist aespa will deliver the unique taste, identity, and cultural appeal of Shin Ramyeon to markets around the world, along with the brand slogan 'Spicy Happiness In Noodles.' Additionally, a global commercial featuring aespa will be released on November 19, 2025. A representative from Nongshim, the manufacturer and seller of Shin Ramyeon, stated, 'aespa's strong cultural presence and significant global influence, along with their continued enjoyment of Shin Ramyeon and Chapagetti since 2021, make them a very natural and appealing ambassador for the brand's next global expansion.' Starting from November 19, the new commercial featuring aespa will be released on Nongshim's global official YouTube channel. This commercial will be produced in a music video format, highlighting their vocal and performance style and artistic charm. The song used in the commercial is a reinterpretation of the Spice Girls' 1997 hit 'Spice Up Your Life,' showcasing aespa's appeal. The commercial conveys the message of delivering 'Spicy Happiness' to consumers worldwide, emphasizing that Shin Ramyeon is loved across countries and cultures, with lively reactions from people enjoying the product captured in the footage. It also includes actions like opening the package, pouring hot water, and preparing chopsticks, as well as an original 'Shin Ramyeon Dance' that expresses the letters 'SHIN' with finger movements. This video will be launched in major overseas regions, including the USA, China, Japan, Europe, and Southeast Asia, expanding into markets outside of Korea. Nongshim plans to gradually launch the 'aespa Special Package' for Shin Ramyeon in the global market. The multi-pack will feature group photos, while the single packs will have individual member photos. This package will be released first in China in November 2025, followed by a gradual rollout in global markets, including Korea. Additionally, some special package products (multi-packs of 'Shin Ramyeon' and 'Shin Ramyeon Toon Bar') will include photo cards with member photos, handwritten messages, and QR codes linking to exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. Numerous offline promotions, such as brand pop-ups and promotional events at retail stores in various countries, are also planned. aespa commented, 'Shin Ramyeon is a brand we have enjoyed regularly during promotional activities and tours.
