On October 11, 2025 (Saturday), 'TGC KITAKYUSHU 2025 by TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION' was held at the West Japan General Exhibition Center New Building. The first artist live featured a group whose single 'Cupid,' released in 2023, charted for 25 consecutive weeks on Billboard's Hot 100, marking a historic achievement for a female K-POP group. They also reached 2nd place on the Billboard Global 200 and entered the TOP 10 on Billboard's Pop Airplay. Their TikTok video using 'Cupid (Twin Ver.) (Sped Up Version)' garnered over 6.7 million posts, making it a global viral hit. After a hiatus and auditions, they reformed in September last year with five members: Kina, Mun Chanel, Yewon, Hana, and Athena. Their U.S. tour from November to December last year sold out all performances, and they made a comeback on April 29 this year with their 3rd mini-album 'Day & Night,' performing two songs including the title track 'Pookie.' The second group, making their debut at 'TGC KITAKYUSHU,' is DXTEEN, a six-member global boys group that debuted as the younger brothers of JO1 and INI. They celebrated their first anniversary with a successful nationwide tour last May-June and performed their 6th single 'Ryokuhenai' and the party tune 'DREAMLIKE.' The third group, Marcy, a three-member band from Fukuoka, also made their debut at 'TGC KITAKYUSHU,' performing three songs including the theme song 'Romance' for 'TGC KITAKYUSHU 2025.' Vocalist Yuki Yoshida expressed their joy about performing in Fukuoka, their hometown. The fourth group, WILD BLUE, performed their 5th digital single 'Astrist' and their newly released 6th digital single 'Kimi no Egao to Ano Sora.' The fifth act, Shina Ko, known as the 'Harajuku Princess,' performed three songs including 'Shina Ko World' and the latest track 'Unicorn Party.' The sixth group, FANTASTICS, made their debut at 'TGC KITAKYUSHU' and collaborated with the local dance club 'TLovlemaKers' from Tokiwaka High School, showcasing a special performance of 'Choo Choo TRAIN.' The seventh group, FRUITS ZIPPER, performed three songs including the new theme song for the TV anime 'Crayon Shin-chan.' The event concluded with ME:I, an 11-member girls group born from the survival audition program 'PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS,' who received overwhelming applause for their first performance at 'TGC KITAKYUSHU.' Additionally, Yui Sakurai, who announced her solo debut at 'Mynavi TGC 2025 A/W,' performed her single 'Kimi no Koto ga Suki na Watashi ga Suki.' The event also featured KAWAII LAB. SOUTH, showcasing new members and performances. The special stage for the upcoming movie 'Strawberry Moon: A Love with Six Months Left' featured the cast, who shared insights about the film. The event was organized by the Tokyo Girls Collection Executive Committee in collaboration with Kitakyushu City and Fukuoka Prefecture.
