The agency of ILLIT has issued an official comment regarding malicious stalking behavior. Today (9th), BELIFT LAB, the agency of ILLIT, revealed its policy to respond strongly to the leak of flight information and stalking behavior through its official channel. BELIFT LAB stated, 'Recently, we have determined that the illegal acquisition of personal information of ILLIT members and acts threatening their safety have exceeded acceptable limits.' They reported, 'After finishing official schedules overseas and returning to Japan after personal schedules, a serious privacy invasion incident occurred involving some members.' Furthermore, they explained, 'We were aware in advance of the situation where the return information of the artists was leaked, and for safety reasons, we changed the departure airport and flight time just before their return. Nevertheless, many people had already obtained the relevant flight information and tracked the artists to the changed airport. Moreover, they not only attempted to approach the artists and engage in conversation but also pointed out whether they were wearing masks and demanded to take photos against the artists' will, posing a threat to the members.' BELIFT LAB added, 'We have actively requested cooperation from the airline regarding the verification of information access history and log records. We are constantly collecting evidence regarding the stalkers threatening the artists and will hold them strictly accountable without any reconciliation or leniency, based on the principle of zero tolerance.'
