BLACKPINK’s Lisa, following members Jisoo and Rosé, expressed her feelings of apology to fans. Yesterday (the 14th), Lisa indirectly referred, through a fan communication platform, to the voices of dissatisfaction regarding the contents of the 10th anniversary event. She began by writing, “Hello, BLINKs (the name of the fans). I hope you are all doing well in the severe summer heat. First, it has already been about a week since our 10th anniversary passed.” She continued, “As you all know, various voices have been going back and forth online recently. That has hurt my heart as well, and I am truly sorry that things have become like this.” Previously, BLACKPINK held a Meet & Greet with 40 fans in Seoul on the 8th of this month to commemorate their 10th debut anniversary. In the process, rumors spread that some members would not participate, but all members took part in the event and met the fans face to face. Lisa said, “My heart hurt too, so it is difficult even to imagine how disappointed you all must have felt. It should originally have been a very special and memorable time of celebration for all of us.” She further said, “I did not come here to make any excuses or to develop my own argument. I only wanted to honor the love and bond we have shared together,” and added, “Because I am truly grateful for the fact that we were able to be together. I hope that on the road ahead as well, we can always keep in our hearts the love we shared together.” Finally, Lisa said, “I love BLINKs. Thank you for always being by our side.”
