Stray Kids will appeal the charm of Korean culture through a variety program. Today (1st), KBS revealed that they will deliver a special Lunar New Year variety program in partnership with Stray Kids. The KBS Lunar New Year special variety program 'Solbim - When I Wake Up, It’s the Joseon Era' (hereafter 'Solbim') depicts a story where Stray Kids, through a mysterious power, time-slip to the Joseon era under the intention of spreading the soul and light of Korea to the world. The members, who suddenly arrived in the past, will not only challenge various traditional cultural missions to return to the present but also showcase performances characteristic of 'concept artisans,' providing K-culture content that all viewers, both domestic and international, can enjoy together. 'Solbim' is also attracting attention as it is Stray Kids' first solo program on terrestrial broadcasting, continuing to set unprecedented records globally. Following their record of first place in initial album sales for K-POP albums in 2025, they established a record of entering the American Billboard main chart 'Billboard 200' at number one with eight albums for the first time in history. Furthermore, they proved their overwhelming influence by performing on stages of major stadiums worldwide through their largest world tour 'dominATE.' In line with the traditional Korean holiday culture represented by the program title 'Solbim' (the custom of wearing new clothes during the Lunar New Year), all participants and audience members will wear Hanbok during the filming. Stray Kids is also expected to style their Hanbok in their unique way with different concepts. The new fashion of Stray Kids, which adds a modern sense to traditional culture, is expected to receive enthusiastic responses from fans worldwide. A special MC lineup that further enhances the show's fun has also been revealed. Lee Seung-gun and Jonathan will appear as MCs, promising an ideal chemistry combining veterans and newcomers. They are expected to naturally harmonize with Stray Kids and fans worldwide, doubling the show's entertainment value. Applications for viewing 'Solbim' will be accepted from 10 AM on January 2 to 11:59 PM on January 7 through the KBS official website. 'Solbim - When I Wake Up, It’s the Joseon Era' is scheduled to be broadcast in Korea during the Lunar New Year holiday.
