Today (15th) afternoon, a press conference was held at the Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, to commemorate the release of ITZY's new mini album "GOLD." With Lia returning to activities, ITZY made a full group comeback. On this day, leader Yeji expressed, "I am happy to meet again as five. We prepared hard for this album, so I am excited and looking forward to it." Lia then took the mic and said, "Thanks to the fans and members who believed and waited for us, we could come back in such a lively manner. Since this is our first activity in a while, we worked hard to show an even more wonderful and well-prepared side. I am looking forward to it." ITZY's new album "GOLD" is based on the theme "OUR WORLD IS STILL DIFFERENT," capturing their shining stories and music. The members will showcase their new charm through double title tracks prepared for their full group comeback. The album's title track "GOLD" features powerful vocal shouts over intense electric guitar rock sounds, while the other title track "Imaginary Friend" stimulates listeners' imagination with soft vocal harmonies and emotional lyrics. The title tracks were completed in collaboration with K-POP hitmaker Ryan Chung and famous American producer Dem Jointz, with Stray Kids' Changbin also participating in the song's production and featuring, showcasing special chemistry. The new album includes 11 tracks, starting with the double title tracks, as well as "Bad Girls R Us," "Supernatural," a fan song celebrating their 5th anniversary titled "FIVE," "VAY (Feat. Changbin of Stray Kids)," and final versions of previous songs like "BORN TO BE," "UNTOUCHABLE," "Mr. Vampire," "Dynamite," and "Escalator," all completed with the five members' voices. Chaeryeong introduced it by saying, "Since this is an important album, we chose carefully and meticulously more than ever. I think it will be a shining album like a gift." Yeji said, "It is touching to greet everyone together again. Because of that, we want to show wonderful activities with our well-prepared selves," and added, "Since we will be active with the double title tracks, we took a lot of time and put in effort to prepare." ITZY's new mini album "GOLD" will be released today at 6 PM.
