Dino of SEVENTEEN released his original song "Star Crossing Night (feat. GALI)". His agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced today (29th) that Dino unveiled the new song through the Chinese version of TikTok, "Douyin," via the music platform SODA MUSIC at 11 AM. This song will be available from the 30th on major music platforms in and out of Korea, including MelOn, genie, Spotify, and YouTube. "Star Crossing Night (feat. GALI)" expresses the perspective of a narrator reflecting on memories of falling in love. Dino participated in the lyrics and composition, drawing inspiration from the night sky and shooting stars. The sound blends electronic music and R&B elements, harmonizing with emotional vocals to create a fantastical and dreamy atmosphere. Additionally, GALI, a rapper who ranked third in the popular Chinese hip-hop show "The Rap of China 2020," features on the track. Dino completed this song through collaboration with Douyin and the UK-based global fashion and culture magazine "Wonderland." Known for showcasing his talents in dance, singing, art, and fashion, he is expected to present a comprehensive artistry that merges music and visuals in his new song. The cover image released alongside shows Dino enveloped in starlight with a fantastical aura. The contrast of light and shadow creates an artistic and mysterious mood. A short music film is also planned for release. Until now, Dino has showcased a wide range of musicality with various songs, including digital singles like "Dreams Come True," "那幕 (Falling Down)," "Side By Side," and "海城 (Hai Cheng)" in China, as well as group activities with SEVENTEEN.
