SHINee’s Minho delivers a deep story that embraces love and farewell with his 2nd mini album, “Make it hot.” “Liquid (Feat. BELLE of KISS OF LIFE),” included in this work, is a pop dance song that is sensual yet refreshing. The lyrics, which capture the moment when two people are drawn to each other, and the intertwining vocals of the two maximize its appeal. So far, Minho has created synergy through featured collaborations with a variety of artists, such as “Because Of You (Feat. NINGNING of aespa),” “FIREWORKS (Feat. Sohee of RIIZE),” “Runaway (Feat. GEMINI),” and “Waterfall (Feat. Lim Kim),” so expectations are rising for this collaboration as well. The included track “Ending Scene” is a medium-tempo R&B song that depicts the moment of deciding to let each other go at the end of a familiar relationship. Minho’s calm vocals convey the deep lingering feeling of farewell. “Love Me Now,” based on Afro house, is a song that expresses, with sophistication, a mature attitude of letting go of memories of past love with a smile. In the teaser image released yesterday (the 27th), he completed a unique atmosphere against the backdrop of an island lit by the sunset. The 2nd mini album “Make it hot” will be released through various music streaming sites at 6 p.m. on September 7.
