Stray Kids are currently holding their Japan tour, "Stray Kids World Tour <RUN IT JAPAN>". Their Tokyo Dome performance on November 7 will be exclusively broadcast live on WOWOW. Stray Kids are in the middle of their fourth world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour <RUN IT>", which began with five performances at Seoul’s KSPO DOME starting July 25 this year. On August 29 and 30, the start of the Japan tour, they achieved a two-day live performance at MUFG Stadium (National Stadium), the first ever for an overseas male artist. In addition, all 10 performances of this Japan tour, which visits four cities—Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka—were sold out. For that reason, additional performances at Tokyo Dome on November 6, 7, and 8 were decided on short notice. From this tour, in which Stray Kids, causing a global sensation, are taking on an unprecedented scale, the November 7 additional Tokyo Dome performance will be broadcast live on WOWOW. Furthermore, in December there will also be a complete broadcast and streaming of music videos. Before enjoying Stray Kids’ powerful live performance at home, we will introduce their path and the highlights of this tour. A major focus worldwide! Their overwhelming scale and performance ability are unique. Stray Kids are an eight-member boy group that debuted in 2018 from JYP Entertainment in Korea, which produced 2PM, GOT7, and TWICE. From the time of their debut, they have been highly regarded for their solid performance ability, and in the survival program "KINGDOM" (2021, Mnet), in which six boy groups competed for the top of K-pop, they won with overwhelming scale and explosive performance. Songs full of originality, such as "God's Menu," in which the contrast of fast and slow dance stands out, "Thunderous," which incorporates Korean traditional performing art pansori, and "MIROH," whose performance is memorable for evoking New Zealand’s traditional dance haka, are also part of Stray Kids’ appeal. Supporting their musical side are the three members Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN, known as "3RACHA." They write, compose, and produce many of Stray Kids’ songs, elevating Stray Kids into a one-of-a-kind group. Stray Kids’ success is not limited to Korea and Japan; from their first world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour 'District 9 : Unlock'," held in 2019, they were already visiting North America, including New York and Los Angeles, and their scale has expanded year by year. In 2023, they appeared as headliners at the music festival "Lollapalooza Paris," and in 2024 they appeared as headliners at Italy’s "I-Days Milano" and the UK’s "British Summer Time Hyde Park," showing world-class momentum. A stage packed with legendary hit songs and the latest songs! The path of the eight members. In their fourth world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour <RUN IT>," which started with the Seoul performances in July this year, Stray Kids’ overwhelming performance ability and stagecraft have been further refined. Stray Kids refresh the theme with each tour and show a new stage, but as the title indicates, this tour uses "RUN IT," which was pre-released ahead of their 10th mini-album "THIS & THAT" released in August, as a keyword. The Japan tour has already finished performances in Tokyo’s MUFG Stadium (National Stadium), Aichi’s Vantelin Dome Nagoya, Osaka’s Kyocera Dome Osaka, and Fukuoka’s Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka, leaving only the additional Tokyo Dome performances on November 6, 7, and 8. Attention should also be paid to the performances they will show in the largest-scale Japan tour in history, and to the set list they will bring to Tokyo Dome, including the aggressive sound "RUN IT," which is the key to this tour, and many of their representative songs. In this tour, when their signature slogan, "Stray Kids everywhere all around the world," echoes through the dome together with rock guitar and heavy drums, the performance begins, and they present more than 30 songs with Stray Kids-like, full-of-spirit performances. As their career has progressed and their songs have increased, there are medleys that show their effort to deliver as many songs as possible to the STAY in the venue, and festival versions of songs that have excited overseas fans as they traveled around music festivals around the world, allowing the audience to look back on Stray Kids’ past while feeling their current growth. Stray Kids’ Japan performances will be broadcast live! Their powerful stage on WOWOW. At the Kyocera Dome Osaka performances held on September 19 and 20, there was also a moment that showed the members’ composure and how much they sincerely enjoy communicating with STAY, such as commenting, in connection with the location, "We will deliver freshly made singing voices to everyone, hot like takoyaki," and greeting playfully while mixing in Kansai dialect. There are many highlights, including performances using swords, costumes boldly open at the back, elaborate stage direction, and, as the tour progresses, a band with perfect teamwork and a large dance team. Not only are you overwhelmed by the performance, but the real joy of a Stray Kids concert is that the venue becomes one, with everyone shouting and jumping together to create the live show. Their charm is fully on display in this tour as well. Stray Kids continue to evolve with every live performance as they race across stages around the world. At the additional Tokyo Dome performance, a stage that will further update the heat accumulated through the Japan tour so far is expected. The November 7 performance will be exclusively broadcast live on WOWOW. We hope you will experience in real time the eight members’ energy that fills the venue and the one-night-only excitement created together with STAY. In addition, a music video collection is scheduled for December, so it seems you will be able to fully enjoy the world of Stray Kids along with the live performance.
