This is a record in about 5 years and 10 months since it was released on June 18, 2018. Among the 45 videos of BLACKPINK posted on YouTube with over 100 million views, this performance video is the fourth to surpass 500 million views. It demonstrates the strong interest of global fans in their performances. The music video for "DDU-DU DDU-DU" (with 2.1 billion views) also boasts enduring popularity, setting new records for K-POP groups in terms of highest and most views per minute and per second. The title track of their 1st mini album "SQUARE UP" is addictive with a strong refrain and a popular point dance resembling shooting a gun with both hands, becoming the most viewed K-POP music video worldwide that year. It also achieved great success on various music charts in Korea and abroad. It topped various music charts in Korea and reached 40th and 55th place on the American "Billboard 200" and "HOT100," respectively, setting the highest ranking for a K-POP girl group at the time.
