It was revealed that Bomin from Golden Child was assaulted with a golf club, leading to a suspension of his activities. Today (18th), according to a report by a Korean legal newspaper, Bomin filed a lawsuit for damages against Mr. A, who swung a golf club at him, and Mr. B, the operator of the golf practice range, through his legal representative on August 22 of last year. On this day, according to the legal community, the 8th Civil Division of the Western District Court of Seoul issued a partial victory ruling for the plaintiff (Bomin) during the announcement trial on October 15. Mr. B was ordered to pay Bomin about 12 million won (approximately 1.33 million yen), with about 10.6 million won (approximately 1.17 million yen) to be paid jointly with Mr. A. The defendants submitted an appeal to the court on October 22, expressing their dissatisfaction. However, they withdrew the appeal on November 1, and the partial victory ruling for the plaintiff was finalized at the end of October. Previously, Bomin had suspended his activities in September 2022 due to injuries sustained at the golf practice range. At that time, the agency explained, "As a result of the examination, he was diagnosed with a facial fracture that required surgery. Following the surgery, he was advised by medical staff to focus on treatment and recovery for a certain period." Bomin debuted in the entertainment industry as a member of the boy group Golden Child under Woollim Entertainment in August 2017. In addition to his singing activities, he made his acting debut in 2019 through the PLAYLIST drama "A-TEEN 2." He is now focusing on his acting career in the second half of this year. After ending his contract with his agency on August 27, he was invited to the 29th Busan International Film Festival for the movie "Ghost Train."
