NCT's Jaehyun will enlist in the army band today (the 4th). Jaehyun is scheduled to enter the new recruit training unit this afternoon and undergo basic military training, after which he will fulfill his military duty in the army band. His enlistment will take place privately without a special official event. Prior to this, SM Entertainment announced in September that 'Jaehyun volunteered for the army band and received a notice of acceptance from the Military Manpower Administration,' adding, 'Since the day of entering the new recruit training unit is a place where many soldiers and families will be together, to prevent accidents due to crowding at the scene, no separate official event will be held.' He cut his previously blonde hair short and dyed it black. He also formed the characters for 'enlistment' with his cut hair. Jaehyun seemed a bit shy about his new buzz cut, smiling bashfully while stroking his short hair. Up until his enlistment, Jaehyun had been actively participating in activities. On the 24th of last month, he released the single 'Unconditional' and met fans at the sold-out fan concert '2024 JAEHYUN FAN-CON 'Mute,' which had all seats sold out, even those with restricted views.
