MAMAMOO's Hwasa colors the movie's first scene with her singing voice, announcing a strong start. Today (the 5th), according to her agency P NATION, Hwasa participates as the singer of the opening title song for the movie 'PROJECT Y'. 'PROJECT Y' depicts the story of two women, Misong (Han So-hee) and Dogyeong (Jeong Jeong-soo), who steal hidden gold to escape their harsh realities. Usually not involved in OSTs (original soundtracks), Hwasa joins this project to take on the opening title song with her voice. Her vocals, which possess intensity, firmness, and space, are expected to naturally elevate the atmosphere of the work while resonating with the psychology of characters standing at the boundaries of life. This opening song will serve as the starting point for the OST, with GRAY participating as the overall music director. With GRAY's unique sensory sound design combined with Hwasa's voice, the opening is anticipated to instantly convey the characters' determination. The movie 'PROJECT Y' will be released in Korea on the 21st of this month and in Japan on the 23rd.
