Stray Kids has started their world tour's Japan performances. This world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>' is their largest scale tour yet, with a total of 21 performances across 12 countries and regions based on the first lineup announced. It began on August 24 in Seoul, South Korea, and after successful shows in Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, and Taiwan, the long-awaited Japan performances have finally opened. The Japan performances will be held at Tokyo Dome on November 14 (Thursday), 16 (Saturday), and 17 (Sunday), and at Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 5 (Thursday), 7 (Saturday), and 8 (Sunday), totaling six performances. In the packed Tokyo Dome, they opened with 'MOUNTAINS' from their fifth mini-album, which reached number one on the US Billboard charts. They performed about 35 songs over approximately three hours, including their latest tracks 'JJAM' and 'Chk Chk Boom', as well as representative songs like 'God's Menu', 'S-Class', and 'MANIAC'. Stray Kids' second Japanese album 'GIANT', released on November 13, has achieved remarkable success both domestically and internationally. It topped the iTunes song charts in nine countries and regions, and the iTunes album charts in 19 countries and regions, including Japan and the USA (as of November 14). This marks the first time a K-POP artist's Japanese work has reached number one on the US iTunes album chart in early 2024.
