KGMA announced special performers including TWS, WayV, AEN, TUIDE, and MADEIN for its November 7–8 awards show in Seoul.

From TWS to TUIDE, the groups currently in the spotlight will take the stage at the Korea Grand Music Awards (hereinafter “KGMA”). On the 21st, the KGMA organizing committee revealed the special lineup that will attend the awards ceremony. TWS released their 5th mini-album “NO TRAGEDY” in Korea in April and their 2nd Japanese single “SODA SODA” in August, and both won first place on major music streaming charts in both countries. They finished their Japan tour at K Arena Yokohama on September 12 and 13, and also successfully completed their Macau performances on September 19 and 20. They will continue their Asia tour in Bangkok on the 26th, Singapore on October 10, and Kaohsiung on the 24th. WayV held “2026 WayV CONCERT TOUR [BORN THIS Way] IN SEOUL” for two days on September 12 and 13 at KBS Arena in Gangseo District, Seoul. They will continue their tour in Hangzhou, Chengdu, Changsha, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Yokohama, and other places. AEN is a global group that debuted this August through the debut mini-album “A NEW ERA OF NOW.” With the debut work of the same name released in Japan, they achieved the feat of appearing at No. 7 on the Oricon weekly ranking. TUIDE is a seven-member girl group first launched by HYBE’s new label ABD. Member Soyeon is the younger sister of Jihyo, who debuted as TWICE and grew into a global top group representing K-pop. MADEIN is a girl group that debuted in September 2024. It includes Japanese members and is captivating many fans not only in Korea but also in Japan. KGMA will be held over two days, November 7 and 8, at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District, Seoul. On the first day, November 7, Wonhee of RESCENE and actress Nam Ji-hyun will host, and on the second day, November 8, Liz of IVE and actor Kim Jae-won will host.

The 2026 MAMA AWARDS revealed its first performance lineup for the two-day event at Kyocera Dome Osaka on November 20 and 21. Twelve acts were announced, including RESCENE, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, BABYMONSTER, ENHYPEN, ILLIT, INI, NCT WISH, CORTIS, KiiiKiii, LE SSERAFIM, NAYEON, and ZEROBASEONE. The announcement also renewed attention on a promise between RESCENE’s Wonni and comedian Lee Sung-min, made after they worked together on a web variety show.
MMA fighter Akiyama Shungo (Korean name: Choo Sung-hoon) announced the death of someone he deeply loved and respected, saying the person died by suicide in their 40s. He expressed shock, sorrow, regret, and condolences, and said he will suspend all social media activity for now.

The members posed with their masks, creating a powerful impression and evoking superhero movie protagonists. The title track will be pre-released on the 19th, with the mini album out on the 26th.
TWICE’s Blu-ray and DVD of the MUFG Stadium concert from TWICE WORLD TOUR IN JAPAN will be released on Dec. 2. The set includes the historic National Stadium show, documentary footage, member fancams, and bonus songs from Kyocera Dome Osaka, celebrating the group’s 10th anniversary.
