ASND, the agency of Red Velvet’s Wendy, has warned that it will take strong legal measures against malicious posts and sexual harassment. On the 19th, ASND posted a statement through its official social media to protect the rights of its artists. The agency began by saying, “Through our previous notice, we informed you that we planned to strictly deal with acts such as malicious slander, the spreading of false facts, defamation, and sexual harassment targeting our artists.” It continued, “Nevertheless, up to now, malicious evaluations targeting the artist’s appearance and body, as well as sexual-harassment-type posts and comments including sexual objectification, are still being continuously confirmed,” emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.
