The SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Tokyo, held on August 9-10, attracted 95,000 fans with performances from 16 artists, celebrating SM Entertainment's 30th anniversary. The event featured rare collaborations and covers, showcasing K-POP's history and the evolution of its artists, including a surprise announcement for a future concert in Fukuoka.

The iconic SUMMER SONIC festival will take place on August 16-17, 2025, with live streaming on WOWOW. The first lineup features 41 artists, including FALL OUT BOY, aespa, and LiSA, showcasing a mix of genres. Additional artists and schedules will be announced leading up to the event.

On the morning of the 8th, aespa left Gimpo International Airport heading to Japan for the SMTOWN LIVE 2025 concert at Tokyo Dome. The event will take place over two days, on the 9th and 10th.
