TBS will broadcast live the 'New Year Ekiden 2026' on January 1 (Thursday, holiday) from 8:30 AM. K from &TEAM has been appointed as a supporter for the commemorative event marking the 70th edition of 'New Year Ekiden 2026.' Following his role as a supporter in September's 'Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships,' he will help energize the fierce competition. K was a member of a strong ekiden team during his athlete days and was selected as a designated athlete due to his exceptional skills. Utilizing his unique perspective and knowledge as a former athlete, along with the reporting skills he demonstrated at the 'Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships,' he aims to convey the charm of the athletes and the competition to the fullest. On race day, he will report on the fierce battles from the start and finish points at Gunma Prefectural Office and relay stations.
