BTS's Jin and RM conveyed messages ahead of their comeback performance at Gwanghwamun. Today (19th), Jin posted on Weverse, "Before we knew it, there is only one day left until the comeback. Thanks to many people who helped and supported us, we are able to hold the comeback performance at Gwanghwamun." He continued, "I am honored to be able to greet everyone together in such a meaningful place after a long time, and I truly thank everyone who helped and understood us." He also stated, "We will do our best to show a good stage," and called for those attending to be mindful of safety. On the same day, RM also urged fans for safety through Weverse. He expressed, "ARMY (the name of the fans)! We are really excited to meet you at Gwanghwamun," sharing his feelings ahead of the concert. He added, "Since many people will gather, I want everyone to enjoy the concert safely and happily," and explained, "Please follow the instructions of the on-site staff and safety personnel and show an orderly attitude." Finally, he expressed, "I believe that the order and consideration created by each ARMY will lead to a more wonderful performance," and thanked the police, firefighters, government, and local authorities for their efforts for safety. BTS will release their 5th full album 'ARIRANG' on the 20th and will make a full-group comeback. The next day, on the 21st at 8 PM, they will hold 'BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG' in the Gwanghwamun Square area. The Seoul police expect up to 260,000 people to gather at the site and will deploy about 6,500 police officers, including over 70 riot police, from all functions such as traffic, crime prevention, criminal, and special forces, mobilizing more than 5,400 pieces of equipment. The government announced on the 18th that it would raise the terror alert to "caution" in the Jongno and Jung districts of Seoul ahead of the Gwanghwamun performance.
