Taeyeon of Girls' Generation revealed the reason why she doesn't appear on music shows. Recently, Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk, who started the YouTube channel "Dongheumul and Peokduunyok," invited Taeyeon as the first guest of their original content "Are You Coming Here?". Taeyeon, who released the 5th mini album "To.X" in November last year, gained a big response. The title track "To.X" recorded high rankings on various music charts, but Taeyeon did not appear on music shows. When Eunhyuk asked, "Why don't you appear on music shows?" Taeyeon confessed, "I don't like the system of music shows." Furthermore, she expressed her thoughts, saying, "I understand, but isn't it inconsiderate to have to sing in the early hours due to recording circumstances?" Eunhyuk also empathized, saying, "There are production costs and environments, and various singers have to pre-record, so it can't be helped." Taeyeon added, "It's a shame that I can't show a good stage due to those circumstances, so I thought I would create other content to show something better." Upon hearing this, Eunhyuk commented, "Music shows have become a trend in a sense that 'you must appear,' but now there are more opportunities to showcase in different content even if it's not like that." He added, "It seems better to make it more skillfully and show better parts," to which Taeyeon showed a surprised expression and asked, "Even the oppas (older brothers)?" Eunhyuk jokingly replied to Taeyeon's question, saying, "We still like the system of music shows," inducing laughter from the viewers.
