Today (12th), STARSHIP Entertainment revealed through official SNS that they are continuously taking legal measures against individuals producing and distributing malicious content targeting our artists, including defamation, dissemination of false facts, sexual harassment, personal attacks, insults, invasion of privacy, and other malicious slanders against Yujin, Gaul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Iso. Furthermore, they stated, 'Such acts are clearly illegal and are not acceptable under any circumstances, nor can they be justified for any reason. We clearly express that we will strictly punish all responsible parties within the maximum extent permitted by law without setting any precedents or exceptions regarding this issue.' They continued, 'Based on materials collected through reports from fans and our monitoring, we have submitted complaints to the investigative authorities regarding malicious posts on various platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Dcinside, NAVER, Daum Cafe, Nate bulletin board, Instiz, theQoo, MLB Park, FM KOREA, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. All relevant posts have been submitted as evidence for criminal complaints, regardless of whether they have been deleted, made private, or if accounts have been changed or deactivated.' In particular, they stated, 'We have secured substantial evidence regarding the production and dissemination of malicious rumors and false facts about the artists, posts including mockery, slander, and sexual content, and the production and dissemination of manipulated materials such as deepfakes. We plan to continue strict legal measures, including criminal complaints and civil lawsuits, without exceptions.'
