ADOR will submit a lawsuit for breach of contract and damages against Daniel, who has left NewJeans. Today (29th), ADOR revealed to OSEN, "We notified Daniel this morning of the termination of his exclusive contract. We plan to submit the lawsuit for breach of contract and damages within today." Regarding the reason for the termination of Daniel's exclusive contract, ADOR explained, "It is difficult to specify due to the upcoming legal proceedings, but actions that violate the exclusive contract occurred, such as entering into contracts that conflict with the exclusive contract, engaging in solo activities, and damaging the honor and credibility of our company and NewJeans. We demanded corrections, but they were not made within the deadline, so we notified the termination." About the breach of contract and damages against Daniel, they stated, "It is difficult to specify the exact amount of damages, but the penalty will follow the formula already established in the exclusive contract." This morning, ADOR also disclosed the progress of discussions with NewJeans members. ADOR stated, "Hani visited Korea with her family and had a long, deep dialogue with ADOR. During this process, they reflected on past events and spent time looking at the matter objectively. After sincere dialogue, Hani decided to respect the court's ruling and continue activities with ADOR." Minji is also in discussions while engaging in dialogue with ADOR. However, regarding Daniel, they emphasized, "In Daniel's case, we judged that it would be difficult for him to continue activities as a member of NewJeans and an artist under ADOR, so we notified the termination of the exclusive contract today. We also plan to hold legal responsibility against one family member of Daniel, who has significant responsibility for the situation leading to his departure from NewJeans and the delay in his return, as well as former representative Min Hee-jin." Finally, they conveyed, "Through the dialogue process, we learned that the members had many misunderstandings about the company while continuously hearing distorted and biased information for a long time, which led to the conflict. Both the company and the artists agreed that to restore the love of fans and the public, a process based on accurate facts to completely resolve misunderstandings is necessary, even if it takes some time. We also plan to have opportunities to discuss various controversies that arose during the conflict and are currently discussing the timing and method."
