Former NCT member Mark will announce a new song five months after leaving SM Entertainment. Mark’s agency, Upper Room, announced today (the 2nd), “Mark will release the new song ‘My Friend’ at 1 p.m. on the 10th.” The released teaser video draws attention with cinematic visual beauty that moves back and forth between the city and nature. Mark’s 모습 facing nature against the backdrop of sunlight and grassland reflects the mood of “Back to Basic,” focusing on his unadorned, original emotions. In the beautiful scenery, it expressed the dream and energy of silently continuing to walk toward the next step. Mark recently opened the global fan communication platform Laylo, and in just one hour, as many as 42,392 fans sent DMs to Mark and applied for subscriptions, proving his unchanging popularity.
