IVE's Wonyoung will participate in the international game exhibition "G-STAR 2024". This year marks the 20th anniversary of "G-STAR 2024", which is expected to be the largest ever, with a total of 1,375 companies from 44 countries participating and operating 3,359 booths. Representatives from Qiddiya Gaming, the world's largest entertainment city in Saudi Arabia, stated, "Wonyoung from IVE, representing K-POP, will visit the Qiddiya Gaming booth at 'G-STAR 2024' held on the 16th at BEXCO in Haeundae District, Busan, to enhance the atmosphere on-site." Prior to the exhibition, Saudi Arabia has showcased the future of its gaming district at global gaming events such as Gamescom in Germany and the Tokyo Game Show. Through this exhibition, Qiddiya Gaming plans to unveil the storyline and gameplay of OUTPOST OMEGA, providing an immersive FPS experience. This space-themed IRL FPS (first-person shooter) is a survival game where the mission is simply to outlive opponents. On this day, Wonyoung is expected to visit the future plant city recreated at the Qiddiya Gaming booth and experience the shooting game. Launched in December 2023, the Qiddiya Gaming & Esports District is the world's first real (IRL) gaming and esports district, aiming to attract gamers worldwide and solidify Saudi Arabia as a global center in this rapidly growing industry. Located within Qiddiya City, the Gaming & Esports District can accommodate up to 25 top-tier esports clubs simultaneously, featuring next-generation facilities with dedicated scrim rooms and strategy theaters for each club, as well as regional headquarters for leading video game companies. It aims for an annual attendance of 10 million, with 100,000 square meters dedicated to retail, dining, and entertainment facilities. Wonyoung has previously participated in songwriting for IVE's albums, showcasing her musical talent. Additionally, she will serve as MC for the "AAA 2024" event in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 27 for the fourth consecutive year. Recently, IVE released a collaboration track "Supernova Love" with DJ David Guetta and is set to perform at "Lollapalooza Paris" at the Hippodrome ParisLongchamp in France on July 20 next year.
