BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) has announced that they will hold stadium performances in major cities in South America. On the 28th, BTS posted details of 'WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG' IN LATIN AMERICA' on the official fan community Weverse. According to this, starting in October in Bogotá, Colombia, they will hold a total of 11 performances in 5 South American cities: Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and São Paulo, Brazil. This will be the first time all members of BTS visit Colombia, Peru, and Argentina. Jin has previously appeared as a guest during Coldplay's world tour held in Buenos Aires, where he performed his first solo single 'The Astronaut.' The prominent Peruvian daily 'El Comercio' introduced BTS as 'one of the most influential cultural phenomena of the 21st century' while reporting on the Lima performance. They also predicted that this concert would not just be a music event but would bring economic ripple effects to the local area.
