This report predicted that the concert would bring an economic impact of up to $200 million to the Las Vegas area. 'BTS-nomics' was observed in other cities as well. Florida broadcaster 10 Tampa Bay News estimated that BTS would bring an economic impact of about $800-900 million to Tampa. The Mexico City Chamber of Commerce predicted an economic ripple effect of about $107.5 million from their concert. In this way, BTS's tour established its status as a large-scale global event driving local consumption in accommodation, dining, and retail. The audience gathered from around the world to see the performance infused vitality throughout the city, once again proving the group's overwhelming influence. Their influence extended beyond the concert, increasing interest in Korean culture as a whole. Local broadcaster ABC7 San Francisco reported that their popularity is spreading interest in the Korean language and culture. Professor Dafna Joor of Korean Studies at Stanford University explained in a media interview that, unlike many other foreign languages that have stagnated or decreased in student numbers, there is a very large interest in Korean language, Korean history, Korean culture, Korean literature, and sociology. Before their performance in Mexico City, BTS visited the presidential residence at the invitation of the local president and met with citizens. The Mexican government honored them as distinguished guests and presented them with a commemorative plaque. The plaque stated that BTS inspires Mexican youth through music and contributes to the formation of a community based on respect, empathy, diversity, and a culture of peace. In El Paso, local community-level welcomes continued. The El Paso County Commission awarded BTS the 'Estimado Amigo' award and declared the concert dates of May 2-3 as 'El Paso BTS Weekend.' This was based on the evaluation that they contributed to promoting El Paso as a major concert venue, revitalizing local tourism, and enhancing community pride. Additionally, according to Billboard's tally, BTS achieved $76.2 million in sales and sold 417,000 tickets over eight performances in Goyang, Tokyo, and Tampa in April, ranking first among tours in April. Notably, the third performance held in Tampa recorded the highest sales and most attendees for a single venue in April. Billboard reported that performances in Tampa and El Paso generated an average of $12.1 million in sales per show. This was analyzed as a 64% increase compared to previous American performances such as 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF' (2019) and 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE' (2022). BTS will hold a concert at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12-13. They will then embark on their European tour starting in Madrid on the 26th and kick off their second North American tour in East Rutherford in August.
